Gabriella Soncco disappeared in the summer of 1945. She was a cleaner at San Marcos University and aspired to study Chemistry there. However, on Thursday June 7th 1945, she didn’t turn up for work. Police were called on the 9th June and conducted a short investigation. One eyewitness reported a girl matching the description of Soncco walking along the road to the north-east of the city, but other than that she appeared to have completely vanished.
